Utensils Needed:

Rolling Pin

Mixing Bowl

Teaspoon

Tablespoon

Measurement Cups (“1 Cup”)

Baking Tray

Chopping Knife

Grater

Paper Towel

Frying Pan

Chopping Board

Base Ingredients: (Basic scone dough recipe)

1 tablespoon margarine

2 cups self-raising flour

¼ teaspoon salt

1 cup milk

Toppings:

White Hungarian Salami

Honey Leg Ham

Tasty Cheese

Bocconcini Cheese

Eggs

Rindless Bacon

Onion

Raguletto Pasta Sauce - Bolognese Classic Tomato

Method:

1) Place 2 cups of self-raising flour and ¼ teaspoon of salt into a mixing bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon of margarine, then rub it into the flour using your fingertips.

2) Pour 1 cup of milk, adding small amounts at a time, mix it into the flour until it is a soft sticky dough.

3) Put a spoonful of flour onto a chopping board and smooth it out so it covers the board and rolling pin.

Add a spoonful of dough; cover both sides with flour then roll intto your desired thickness.

Using a shape cutter (I don’t have one so I used my measuring cup – which is 4.5 inches across) cut out a circle.

4) Heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.  Lightly grease a baking tray with oil and paper towel.  Place your cut out pizza bases on the tray (mine fits 5 bases at a time)

5) Cut off the fat then dice the bacon. Dice up some onion and cook them in a frying pan along with the egg. Once cooked, place on a piece of paper towel to soak up the excess oil.

6) Cut up the ham, salami and bocconcini cheese. Grate the tasty cheese then spread 1 tpsn of the bolognese sauce onto each base.
(The middle picture below is a step by step of the order that I place my toppings: sauce, bocconcini cheese, ham, salami, bacon, onion, egg, tasty cheese, salt, pepper and oregano.)

7) Place the tray into the oven and cook for 10 minutes (or until cheese is melted).

Once done, pull out of the oven and serve.

(You may need to place on paper towel for a few minutes first to soak up any excess moisture)

I love this recipe as it is perfect for finger food at parties, quick easy dinners and work/school lunches.

They taste just as good reheated the next day!

* Note: I've recently started adding a swirl of BBQ Sauce ontop of the pizzas before cooking - AND OMG, IT'S SO GOOD! ;)
