Cooking time: 20 minutes

Oven temperature: 230 degrees Celsius

Utensils needed:

2x Oven trays

2x Teaspoons

Chopping knife

Grater

Paper towel

Plates

Knives and Forks

1x Cup

Ingredients:
Baked Honey Leg Ham

Tasty Cheese

Olive Oil

Salt

White Hungarian Salami (optional)

McCain Beer Batter Chips – Fish Shop

Raguletto Pasta Sauce – Bolognese Classic Tomato

Chicken Breast Schnitzel Fillets (love heart shaped - purchased from “Coles” deli)

Gravox Pepper Sauce (Gravy)

Method:

1) Set oven to 230 degrees Celsius. Let it heat up for 5 minutes then place chips onto a tray and put the tray into the oven. Set the timer to go off in 10 minutes.

2) Turn stove top on to a high heat and pour a decent amount of oil into a pan. While you are waiting for it to heat up, chop your schnitzel fillets in half. You only need 1 half per person, as a whole one will be way too filling.

3) Cook your schnitzels until they are golden on both sides (1-2 minutes each side). Once they are done, place the schnitzels onto a piece of paper towel to absorb the excess oil. Grate a big handful of cheese (roughly ¼ - ½ cup). Place your schnitzels onto a tray, and then spread 2 - 3 teaspoons of pasta sauce on top.

* When the timer goes off, sprinkle salt over the chips then turn them over. Place the tray back into the oven for another 10 minutes.

4) Sprinkle a small handful of cheese on top, and then place 2 slices of ham on top of that – cut 1 slice in half so it fits on the point.

(Optional: place 2 slices of salami on top of the ham – again cut one of the slices to fit)

5) Place another 2 – 3 teaspoons of pasta sauce onto the schnitzel, and then sprinkle on more cheese. By the time this is all done you should have 5 minutes left on the timer. Place your schnitzels into the oven for those last 5 minutes – do not change the temperature.

6) Place 1 – 2 teaspoons of pepper gravy into a cup, then add roughly ½ cup of boiling water.

Stir well. If this is not to your liking, simply add more water or gravy until you reach your desired consistency.

7) Carefully take the chicken parmas out of the oven and place onto plates. Then take the chips out, sprinkle with salt and place onto the plate. Pour gravy over the chips and serve.
